Aluminum Sheet 6061 T6

Competitive Metals stocks 6061 sheet in a wide variety of thicknesses and sheet sizes. 6061 is the most common sheet alloy and is suited for applications where rigidity and durability are needed such as mounting plates, skid plates, stiffeners, etc. These sheets are light, hard, but limited on formability.

6061 Aluminum Sheet Features:

• Easy to machine, shear, and drill.
• Available in thickness ranging from .032” to .375”  
• 48” x 144” stock sheet sizes available; may be purchased by the 12” x 48” increment (12” x 48”, 24” x 48”, 36” x 48”, etc)
• Many sizes are offered with PVC coating on one side. PVC coating is added at the time of production by the mill to keep the surface protected.
• Smooth, mill finish, not polished
