Aluminum Expanded Sheet
Competitive Metals offers aluminum expanded metal in a variety of opening sizes and thicknesses to accommodate a variety of applications ranging from outdoor furniture, to irrigation box security enclosures, to trailer ramp traction surfaces to machine guards, elevated walkways and more. Expanded metal sheets are produced by slitting and stretching sheet metal to create diamond-shaped openings. The openings in the steel sheets allow for air, liquid, sound, and light/visibility to pass through. Aluminum expanded metal is often used in the outdoors where persistent moisture contact leaves traditional steel expanded metal rusted.
